Built in Germany on Volkswagen’s T4 platform and completed with a factory Westfalia California camper conversion, this left-hand-drive example represents one of Europe’s most recognizable and desirable camper vans.

The T4 marked an important change in Volkswagen van history. It was the first Transporter generation to use a front-engine, water-cooled layout, replacing the rear-engine design associated with earlier Volkswagen buses. For the European market, Westfalia converted selected T4 models into the Volkswagen California, creating a purpose-built camper distinct from the North American Eurovan camper conversions more commonly seen in the United States.

Powered by a 2.5L turbo diesel engine and paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, this 2WD California offers a highly desirable combination of diesel efficiency, manual control, left-hand drive, and a complete Westfalia camping layout.
